World Food Day

The children were very busy getting creative with food for World Food Day. Some of our older children talked about where different types of food come from including shops and farms. Some of our Busy Bees children enjoyed baking and learning how different ingredients can be combined and mixed to create something! Our Worker Bees children used the interactive board to discuss what goes into a healthy lunch. Some of our younger children enjoyed messy play using various types of foods to explore different textures such as smooth or crunchy and they also made sure they had a taste so they could tell us what they thought. Some of our Busy Bees and Worker Bees Children also demonstrated how they could use food in other ways as well as eating it by using carrots for mark making &b pasta to make some beautiful necklaces and bracelets!
