Easter at Honey Pot!

Written by Aigburth. Posted in General

The children had a lovely time enjoying our Easter events. We had an Easter egg hunt in the garden and all of the children were excited to get involved. They searched high and low for the eggs which had been hidden by the Easter Bunny! The chocolate was delicious! The children also took part in an Easter Bonnet Parade. They all worked really hard on their bonnets. (The parents were really creative with them too!) There were prizes for everyone!

There were lots of sports and games throughout the day which the children all got involved in. Collectively we raised £118.57! Well done and thank you!

Honey’s Trip to the Farm

This week a group of our Honey Bees had a trip to Acorn Farm. They were learning all about spring time and new life looking at the baby animals, the baby chicks and the piglets were their favourite! They saw some bunny rabbits which reminded them of the Easter bunny but unfortunately they didn’t find any chocolate eggs. Some of our children were so brave and fed the goats, which they thought was very funny, and then they all washed their hands before sitting down to enjoy their picnic!

Some of the children from Baby Bees went on a trip to Bubbles World of Play in New Brighton. They had fun in the huge soft play area and worked off lots of energy climbing on the soft play area and going up and down the slides! They also swam in the ball pools and were fascinated by the machine that blew balls in the air! They all fell asleep on the way back to nursery!
