Cake and Coffee Morning

Written by Aigburth. Posted in General

This morning Honey Pot held a cake and coffee morning for Macmillan. Some parents came for a cake and coffee and their children enjoyed a cake too. The staff had a ‘bake-off’ and best baker was awarded to Sarah-Louise. Cakes have continued to be sold throughout the day. We have raised £72 so far. Thank you to everyone who donated their time and money to this great cause!

Big cook, little cook

Some of our Worker Bees children helped our cook Maureen to cut up some vegetables to make a lovely vegetable soup. The children looked the part in their chef uniforms & learnt how to cut the vegetables safely. The children talked about which vegetables were their favourites & how delicious & healthy they are!

The children celebrated London fashion week by coming to nursery in clothing of their own choosing. The children all wore lovely & unique outfits! Some of our Worker bees children had so much fun pretending to be models & doing a little turn & pose on our very own cat walk! The children enjoyed learning about fashion shows, famous designers & even drew & coloured their very own designs!

Spanish Day!

Today the children had a Spanish themed day in nursery. The children came to nursery in Spanish themed clothes, some wore football kits of Spanish teams and others wore Spanish dresses. The children practiced some Spanish dancing to music and had a great time! They had paella for lunch with a traditional chocolate orange cheesecake for dessert, it was delicious!
