Aigburth achieves Millie’s Mark!!

Written by Aigburth. Posted in General

We recently achieved our Millie’s mark accreditation! This is a Quality Mark for nurseries where our employees working directly with children are trained in paediatric first aid. This has been awarded by National Day Nurseries Association (NDNA) in association with the Department for Education and Millie’s Trust. You may have been aware that we have been working hard for a period of time to achieve this award, which acts as an indicator that we go above and beyond the minimum requirements to keep children safe and minimise risks and accidents.

We are delighted that our efforts have been rewarded and that we have achieved this very special award.

Festive Fun

Our Busy Bees children have had lots of fun making festive decorations. They used their handprints to make reindeers & giggled as they stuck the red nose on! They also had fun glueing & sticking to decorate a Christmas tree. Also today our Baby & Honey Bees enjoyed their Christmas party & had a little visit to Santa!!

Getting festive!

Some of our pre-school children had a lovely time recently visiting Santa’s grotto. They enjoyed posing for pictures & engaging in some lovely festive activities including making reindeer food. They all told Santa what they would like for Christmas & came back with a little gift! Also our cheeky elf Buddy made an appearance in the pre-school room! First, he was hidden amongst the balloons & left us a letter & the next day he made lots of mess with toilet roll!

We wonder what he is going to do next!!!

Garston Busy Bee’s Trip to the Museum

Written by Garston. Posted in General

Garston Busy Bee’s enjoyed a trip to the Museum. They enjoyed exploring the animals and the dinosaurs. The children have shown lots of interest in these topics and we will be extending their learning further and creating PLOD’s based around these topics within the room.
